At a Glance (review from insta account)
Kid friendly ✅ ✅ all the animals are very friendly, including the alpacas and even the bison! The kids were able to see and/or touch/feed: rabbits 🐰, guinea pigs, pigs 🐖, alpacas, donkeys, horses 🐴, goats 🐐, tortoises 🐢, roosters 🐓, turkeys 🦃, ostrich, kangaroo, a bison, and cows. Also, there’s a small playground, a space with sand, picnic tables, and just plenty of space for kids to burn energy. Moreover, you can take a hay ride through the woods at specific times.
Stroller friendly ✅ A jogging stroller is better suited but a regular one should do fine. Mine did!
Restrooms ✅ ✅ ✅ And they were super clean. You know how hard is to find an open restroom these days, let alone clean!
Social distancing ✅ Most people were wearing masks 😷 and they were absolutely required for the hay ride. Also, there’s plenty of space to avoid being close to anyone. Although the parking gave the impression it was crowded, based on a visit on a weekday, it wasn’t at all.
My takeaway ✨ We really liked this farm. It’s very well organized. You don’t feel like you are walking too much to see it all. Also, the animals looked well and the staff was very friendly.
Last remarks 🚨They were selling beverages like cold lemonade which tasted amazing under the sun. Also, food like a donut funnel cake! 🍩

This farm is located in Frederick County, Maryland
As you see, it might be a good idea to checkout other awesome outdoor places like Monocacy National Battlefield!
There are multiple photo stand-ins throughout the farm for fun pictures!
Moreover, there are multiple stations to wash your hands!! Also, this restroom you see in the picture is next to the farm entrance and it was absolutely clean. Very important details during these times.
As mentioned in “At a glance”, there are a lot of animals that you can pet. My kids loved the rabbits!
They also offer a hay ride, which is a ride on a wagon truck and you sit on hay! The ride takes you into the woods, pretty cool. See video on my insta!
And for adults like me that love petting animals as well, I had such a great time bonding with he alpacas! They are so cute and friendly.
