More about this place:

As mentioned in my insta post, Daniels Dam is packed all summer. It’s very difficult to find a parking spot unless you go super super early. Be advised, even if you will most likely see people swimming, it is prohibited. Per the park’s website “Like all other dams on the Patapsco River, activity is prohibited within 300 feet of the dam.“. Also, there has been deaths in this place. Please read the following article and act accordingly. No swimming allowed!

If you decide to visit this place, pair with a visit to Camel’s Den Cave. Check out this post for more information!

I hope you have a great time visiting this beautiful place. Being in contact with nature is proven to make you feel better and happier. 1. […] The cave is located in the Daniels Area of Patapsco Valley State Park and sits along the Old Main Line to Daniels Loop Trail. Even though you don’t need to hike the entire trail to get here. As mentioned in my insta post, it’s about a ten minute walk from the parking lot on Daniels Rd. This cave is perfect for quick day trips. You can pair it with a visit to Daniels Dam which is right there. Check out this post about our visit to Daniels Dam. […]
